Run for your Wife
by Ray Cooney
We’re delighted to announce details of our upcoming amateur production of 'Run for Your Wife' by Ray Cooney, to be directed by Nick Bailey and produced by Steffi Froggatt.
It is a fast‑paced, door‑slamming comedy packed with chaos, charm, and brilliant character moments, so if you enjoy big laughs, quick timing, and being part of a lively ensemble, this is the show for you.
About the Play
The story follows John Smith, a London taxi driver with a perfectly ordinary life… except for the fact he’s secretly married to two women in different parts of the city. When an unexpected incident throws his carefully balanced double life into disarray, John scrambles to keep the truth hidden — with increasingly ridiculous results. It’s classic farce, full of energy, wit, and wonderfully eccentric characters. More details.

We’re casting a full range of roles for adults over 18yrs, with the key requirement being enthusiasm and a willingness to throw yourself into the fun.
