A Brief History of Women

A comedy in 4 parts following the fortunes of a house, a young man and the women who love him over a period spanning 60 years.

​

Written for a cast of 3 men and 3 women it calls for some flexible acting, as the young man ages and different characters in his life come and go.

​

There will be an informal read through of the play in March after the panto with auditions to follow in late April. Look out on this web site and social media for more details nearer the time. There is opportunity to expand the cast to accommodate some less experienced actors if someone wants to dip their toe into acting or if availability for rehearsals is limited, so don’t be afraid to have a chat to director Felicity James after the read through if this is you!
